🎵 Laszlo and The Hidden Strength
I wrote about this band on Perfectly Imperfect a long time ago, but I’m simply not going to shut up about them until they get the roses they deserve.
Last night I saw the camo-prep dressed group perform Strange Victory with a small orchestra at the PAGEANT performance space in East Williamsburg. This new record kinda reminds me of Fleet Foxes or something with it’s pretty flute-laced orchestral backdrop. Combine that quiet and lush instrumentation with explosive moments and Laszlo’s theatrical vocals, and you have a very special album.
My favorite tracks are Selective Memory Curling Photo, Colleen, Teen Drums, and Who’s The Market.
