I don’t consider myself a coffee snob or anything, but I do stand by grinding your own beans. However for a long time my grinder created a ton of static electricity so when I went to pull out the freshly ground coffee it’d end up all over the counter, me, and the grinder itself. Not fun.

This all changed when my buddy Alex told me about this incredible coffee life hack from that sort of annoying James Hoffman guy on Youtube. Basically if you gently spray the beans with water before grinding them it’ll remove virtually all of the static, which means zero mess.

It made my mornings a lot nicer I’ll tell you that much.
