There’s a line, obviously.

You definitely don’t want to be the lazy asshole who doesn’t put in any effort before begging for help (and inevitably giving up anyways), but I also think if reaching out to a friend, colleague, whatever, can help you learn faster and get to where U wanna be, just effin do it!

I’ve had to bug so many people in the last few years to figure out how to work with venues, get sound/light shit set up, find sponsors, learn how to DJ, book artists, etc, etc, etc, and there’ll only be more to learn on the horizon.

But that’s all okay, because I’ll figure it out somehow. And I can be the one who answers other people’s questions someday. The cycle continues.
