Day 5: Breaking Bread with Dave

Soulless, but good for the soul.

🍞 Dave's Killer Bread’s GOOD SEED

I’m sure we’ve all seen the extremely chadded Dave shredding a guitar on this hip bread packaging before. He seems friendly enough, and he’s definitely ripped, but anything that is optimized for nutrients or marketed this way is usually feels spiritually deprived. I want some fresh tasty sourdough or a delicious local bagel, BUT… @TubbyTyInTheTub is a relic of the past. This year I’m trying to get shredded with my friend Blake.

Dave is making bread that’s only 70 calories and has some protein in it. And some other stuff I don’t really understand, like what’s OMEGA-3 anyways? An Aphex Twin track name?

Anyways, I like to eat this with some avocado and a poached egg for lunch, and occasionally I’ll have a slice with crunchy peanut butter if things are feeling dire mid afternoon.
