💿 CDs
Okay I don’t actually think CDs are the new vinyl.
They definitely don’t sound as nice + they scratch easily, but they’re also a whole lot smaller, easier to store, and generally cheaper.
For instance, I bought both of these Snow Strippers CDs because I wanted to support them & simply own something physical related to the group, not because I needed the highest fidelity audio possible.
Not to mention, most (not all!) people aren’t actually playing any of the records stacked in the corner of their apartment, so maybe we should collectively acknowledge that and collect something a little bit smaller.
Now I just need to get a CD player…
