📝 Big Note Pad + Fine Point Sharpie + Thick Highlighter
Yup, it’s that simple baby.
Apps and technology just don’t really work for me, I’m sorry. So I won’t be selling you on Notion or Todoist or some other tech type-A garbage.
I have a real ass 9to5 day-job on top of everything I do with Perfectly Imperfect (because it doesn’t make any money…), so it’s really important that I keep track of all the things I have to do.
The only method that’s stood the test of time for me is writing a list on a nice large piece of paper (I like this Rhodia black dot pad) with a fine point sharpie and keeping it right on my desk. At the beginning of the week I write down everything that needs to get done and highlight anything critical. As I complete the tasks I cross them out and once the list is nearly complete I transfer the remaining items to a new sheet and start again.
It’s not revolutionary, but there’s something about using these simple but specific tools in unison that makes it work for me.
Have a nice day 🫶
