For Quiet Mornings on Rainy Days

I post a lot of high energy, weird, new music, but most days I just listen to music like Bill Callahan and his band Smog.

You know how some days you wake up already feeling down? Almost like the day was over before it began. Well, listening to “Jim Cain” on those quiet rainy mornings can almost make it seem okay. And remarkably this same song works for sunny but quiet hopeful mornings.

If the city is feeling too all consuming it can be nice to romanticize escaping to the country and leaving it all behind.

Or sometimes you just want to rock out to “Dress Sexy At My Funeral”
