Every time I see a Colville painting it gets stucks in my head for days.
It’s uncanny how his style looked so much like early computer graphics despite most of his paintings being created 30-50 years before.
I love all of his stuff but I think the one (above) of the horse running towards the train is my favorite.
A lot of people know him from this classic (below) that ended up inspiring Michael Mann’s HEAT (1995).
I also like these two (below).
They sell some decent looking prints here. Maybe I’ll get one.
